Yves Saint Laurent-GOLD

One of the the things I was desperate to see was the GOLD exhibition at the museum of Yves Saint Laurent in Paris.

We missed it when we all went as a family so I made sure to buy my ticket in advance and it definitely did not dissapoint! It was really beautifully curated, not huge but enough to look at without being overwhelming. I spent ages in front of the accessories cabinet, and I particularly adored this corset/bodice/bust in gold.......

There was a complimentary showing of the Belgian sculptor Johan Creten which were incredible, I couldn't stop coming back to them actually, (I so so wanted to touch them!)

Coming round the corner of the first collection was incredible and in fact my favourite section. I really couldn't get over the matador inspired ensemble, I wanted ALL of it! To wear separately AND together....!

The rest of the exhibition was really cool, I sat mesmerised over the original catwalk videos of the clothes but it was really the above pieces that wowed me the most, I'm really glad I caught it!
